Far and away, the most significant benefit of a VA loan
is the borrower's ability to purchase with no money down.
Apart from the government's UDSA's Rural Development home
loan and Fannie Mae's Home Path, it's all but impossible
to find a lending option today that provides borrowers
with 100 percent financing.
VA loans also come with less stringent underwriting standards and requirements than conventional loans. In fact, about 80 percent of VA borrowers could not have qualified for a conventional loan. These loans also come with no private mortgage insurance (PMI), a monthly expense that conventional borrowers are required to pay unless they put down at least 20 percent of the loan amount.
"Archie had my loan ready to go well in advance of my closing and everything was perfect. She not only helped me with my new home loan, but she also helped the owners buying the home I was selling. We were able to close both loans before our actual scheduled closing dates. I would wholeheartedly recommend Archie and DHA to anyone trying to qualify for a mortgage in Colorado."
"I want to thank Mark for his patients with me while we were shopping for a lender. He went out of his way to explain the loan process and took my calls, even at night and weekends. The process was quick and we closed earlier than when he said we would. I have never experienced such great customer service and this was by far the best refinance experience I have ever been through. You have an asset in Mark!!!."
"Thanks Tom! We are so glad this is all done and over with! I can finally relax and know everything if finished. You and Nevene both have been extremely wonderful to work with. You both went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it. We are so glad we chose your company and got you as our loan processor. It would have been terrible without your reassurances and friendly ways. Thanks, a lot!"
